Greetings Destonians,
Another year leaves us and another approaches and I would like to take this opportunity to give thanks to our Ancestors and to welcome you in this New Year. Let us see it as a fresh clean page, a blank canvas to brush ourselves off of old habits, unconstructive ways of thinking and to start all over again. So I apologise to anyone I may have both intentionally and unintentionally offended whist on this site. I especially apologise to sister Destee when I questioned the purpose of the site. I'm still here. The vindictive trials and treacherous tribulations of this brief life should not render my harboured frustrations and impatience for the lack of unity of our people by attacking sister Destee in light of the rarity of sincere connections that I have made on this site and the invaluable insight I have gathered in the many threads and posts. I swallow my pride and give thanks to sister Destee, and I thank you All.
Do not deny who you are. When you limit yourself, you are in reality limiting the Divine. When you tell yourself that you cannot do something or that you are no good at something, then you are denying and abandoning the goodness, the talents and the gifts that you already possess. Know that you lack in nothing.
Do not look for what is wrong because each time you do you will always be looking for ways to fix it. Everything is as it should be. If we look for what is wrong then we will always find it because that is where our focus lies. Instead, look for what is right then we can only expand and develop on that. Everything is already perfect and already there.
Our outward existence is merely a reflection of our inner state. As the age old axiom goes, 'as a man/woman thinketh so shall he/she be'. So please choose wisely what precious things you will bring with you into this new fertile ground of 2009 and beyond. Leave behind all the things that no longer serve you, and actively claim and honour the things that do, giving them much space and attention in this new place! Be creative not destructive as we affect others and in turn affect the world.
In this new space I leave behind:
- Impatience
- Fear of not knowing how things will turn out
- Indecision
- Undeserving
- Avoiding anything that puts me in a position of doubt
In this new breath of the new year I claim:
- Power to exercise control
- Consistency
- Love
- Abundance
- Acting on what is right
