TOBACCO IS MORE VAUABLE THAN BLACK LIVES: Hands up don’t shoot
By Andre Austin

Before the sun rose up we picked the Cotton & Tobacco fields
They didn’t care about our lives just the production we could yield

I got my hands up don’t shoot, don’t shoot
Don’t shoot
Don’t shoot
I got my hands up don’t shoot, don’t shoot

We need to take it to the streets and go out and burn the crops
Then we can get a fee buzz off the fumes; compliments of the trigger happy cops
Who couldn’t stand getting pimped slapped in the face
So he jumped the gun without the stun-gun or even using some mace
Have gun will travel and even Flash Gordon can’t outrun the bullet too far
They traded in my life for some Island madness box of cigars
Tobacco more valuable than a black life and some farmers would trade their wife
Missouri made national news because two white journalists were given a little strife
White man’s property more important than black flesh needs no educated guess
This is the Cause & Effect of riots and looting and all that other mess
To be or can I be it or not
Should I or should I not inhale the Tobacco or have a boycott
9101 a West Florisant street @ Ferguson Market & Liquor Party store
Looting everything they can and tonight they will take some more
Wasting gasoline for your little genie in a bottle with a wick
Now the national guard is coming as the time bomb keeps it tick
We shall overcome that song we can sing
But some brothers still remember what happened in “Do The Right Thing”
Who’s the Menace II Society is it Officer Wilson or the deceased Big Mike Brown
All the whites stick around all others get out of town before sundown
De ja vu it reminds of the situation between the fuzz and Newton were in
But Huey was able to turn the tables and the gun to get a win
Now everybody is Big Mike Brown for we are all kin
And we shall rise above the Devil and his diabolical Sin
We used to pick now they want us to smoke it
Pay your taxes to Caesar with a credit card, cash or Debit
Cause no one is gonna pay for our funky habit
You can’t get over using your muscles over some wit
This ain’t Friday and you ain’t Smokey the bandit
Because the Whiteman owns it and gets the first and last hit
You had no permission from God to turn off from on what God Lit
They did the same to my NY entrepreneur brother feeding all the Nicotine fits
Until a cop suffocated him, got on top of him, and wanted to take a sit
You’re nothing like the two white dudes in McDonalds getting free Wi-Fi
No good will come when property rises above people and we are killed off like flies
Its too much black on black crime for me to form unions outside of my race
That’s why I’m in search of a Chocolate Easter Bunny face
Too much black on black hate
To put some vanilla ice-cream on my plate
We need some black Love The Formula, the Antidote
It’s the secret Chemistry of Love L=mc please take some notes
But most black cops have to renounce their black ghetto citizenship
Then to get along with the Blue Wall they have to marry white chic’s
When you were in the military they let you be black and Navy blue
But when you came home from America you couldn’t pick up on the clue
The government uses its tricks trying make everything fall under R.I.C.C. O
They don’t give a **** that you lost your life off some unpaid Tobacco

Didn't then and don't now.
