you can't hold me down
I started at the bottom
I can only rise

given everything
just missin that silver spoon
I'm comin real soon

each day that i rise
I see the hate in they eyes
your nothing they say

well have it your way
our place was meant to be great
we rise it's our fate

as my uplifting spirit
rise above any

U cant hold me, see
because i am light of life
my rays is power

Hands off my mental
i am thinkable within
da wareness of life

My fate is in you
that we are as one long mate
hate is not to be

than, not equal to

But in their clouded
eyes, what they truly see is
a figment of me

For I am endless
The heights I can possibly
reach, none can fathom

They may never see
The depths of me and of you
It's their loss, not ours...
