I just want to know if the H1N1 Vaccine is safe.
They are immunising people here in Ghana and many have complained about it. They say it's painful.

smh...I don't understand why, with as much speculation about health problems that have arisen on the continent (and outside of it) as a result of all those so-called 'helpful' vaccinations, people are still allowing them to come in there. I simply don't get it. Ultimately, you'd have to rely on the conscious health/medical experts and scientists among us to get a fairly solid answer. However, history ought to send red flags up among the people...smh.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Vaccines required by Law before a child enters school in America? Companies that manufacturer vaccines for American and African children are one and the same.... the only difference is African children are used as testers or guinea pigs so America and west can be disease free.

Please brother Ibrahim, I do not mean to sound hostile nor arrogant, but your post is like someone telling me that a summer camp counselor put strichnine in my duaghters tuna fish sandwich.

We are all disheartened and shocked by this news

Ad to repat what the sister mentioned before we are at a loss to understand hy no one , or at least some folks from Ghana living here or over there have not read the numerous reports from

The Finl Call newspaper, and several other Black news sources,
about the very real danger of the vaccine
that these horros and the number of folks here who know of folks who have died after taking it, and right here on DESTEE the over 12 initial posts each haveing more then 150 responses talking about the danger of this substance

    over 6 monhs ago,

ad now we are being told that in the birthplace of Kwame Nkhrumah, folks are taking this harmful stuff after all of the evidence and material from Europe and the United States clearly saying how dangerous this stuff is?

You see that is why I asked the still unanswered question as to good websites, providing African news because people have died and will continue to die needlessly because of lack of simple information

I declined to take the vaccine as well.

How many times have we been told a medicine is safe only to have it pulled off the market a few years later?

I am not paranoid about these things. I did take the regular flu shot and have all other vaccines up to date. I don't buy into the autism link either. HOWEVER, this is a new vaccine that has not had years of research behind it and my risk of contracting a fatal case of swine flu is low.

Everyone must decide for themselves if it is worth it. So far I haven't regretted my decision.
