GUESS WHO’S COMING FOR DINNER?
By Andre Austin

The United Guest
Invited for dinner
Didn’t even need a bullet proof Vest
Long walk to freedom, its not a Zinger
I got the ringer Morpheus
Statue of Liberty please sing for Me

Woody Wood Pecker likes Lynching Trees
An intelligent Commander hates to see
Can’t put no rope around me
My lips are free to eat all my peas

Free to say or play
As far as money can take it
A Hollywood movie couldn’t break it
I don’t fake it
I don’t shake it
I just try to make it
On crumbs given to me
Don’t beat it
Just eat it

This ain’t no Last Supper unleavened Yeast
Morpheus working OT for suckers to feast
Think on it everyone has to eat

Morpheus Big House keeps stuffing me
Eyes closed can’t even take a look
Rice, shrimp and other grub in the dream
Exchanging Mandela’s Book
For a Long walk to freedom-A Marathon team

I dream a day of Greatness
Breaking bread at the Dinner Table
If you smart enough to decode this poem you a baaaaaaaaaaad MF, I confess
But I don’t think anyone’s able
