What's great about it?
We live in a world where so many people think the best way to respond to tyranny is to argue, or fight, or kill, or torture, or wage just war. Artists who use their talent to make a statement, rather then with guns or loud angry voices, should be encouraged.

It should be encouraged, meantime the tyranny and killing will continue. Art is suppose to stop it? To me it's a sign of pacification.
A picture is worth a thousand words" refers to the notion that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image. It also aptly characterizes one of the main goals of visualization, namely making it possible to absorb large amounts of data quickly. An individual artist may not be able to stop tyranny, but I believe they can and have shed light on it, to the extent that when seen by others, the message it conveys can serve to create a movement and mobilize others to end the tyranny.

Some of us tend to over stress politics over art, forgetting that a driving force in our communities in the 60s was the Black Arts Movement.
Parody. Satire. These are also means that can result in reaching more people than speeches and protest.
