    ahhh...I got that Pharoah cut on my mp3...its truly inspirational.
    I was a young buck then...I used to sit at my uncles knee, in that cramped 3flr walk up on Convent Ave n 135th...amazed at all the sounds...in between the weed smoke and incense:SuN021:

    Oh yeah, Sanders is good stuff! I remember trancing out to his Upper and Lower Egypt song (below), he is mean on that track. Have to give thanks to my mentor who burned me a cd chok-full of Afrikan jazz and my self massive props for taking the time to listen.
