My grandmother was the best i could ever hope to have
she was there for me more than my own mother,
she taught me good morals and set me on the right path
even though i strayed a bit, i will always love her.
she taught me good manners and gave me a sense of worth
she picked me up when i fell and set me back on my feet,
to me shes the most influental woman on this earth
with a heart thats almost too big and sweet.
its not realistic but i wish she would never leave
the earth will be minus one good teacher,
the thought of life without her makes my heart grieve
she was a christian and never let the devil reach her.
i wish i could take her sickness and put it into myself
but its nature running it's course,
if i had one wish..truly it'd be for her good health
but she lived a good life for which there should be no remorse.
i know her time is drawing near, im tryin to be prepared
even though we'll all miss her much,
i have to admit im kinda scared
our time seemed to pass in a rush.
i'll look at the bright side, another angel getting her wings
and i hope her soul flies high,
she left this world fulla good memories and things
but i'm sure God wants her by his side.

Grandmother's is the root of our beings today
