I often look now at the practices by our people that are inherited and not taught to us. We kind of do them according to how we feel with no current coaching etc. I also try to place these customs along with the behaviors of the stars planets etc. Every wonder why we gravitate and revolve around the grand mother or great grand mother if the creator has allowed us to experience her spirit while incased in matter. To me grandma represents the home star the birth star to witch all the stars and planets(her electrons and neutrons) that she is responsible for gravitate around her. I know that this theory currently contradicts the orginial premise of the sun being a male principle for sustaing life via providng the magnetic force to the planets. However the elements or planets are offspring of it's star. The star is responsible for noursihment of its electrons(planets) . The more we continue to allow or thought process to be assumilate to thiers (male domiance). It is my opinion that we are out of balance with the law of maat. I once read that our ancestors followed the starts in light of thier movement(perfection ,obience, balance to the instructions of the one) WE no longer hold big momma in her place of honor and esteem. We are slowly being assumulate to the western thought process of male domation. To the point where our home star is being ignored(grand ma). Any way what to yall think.

Even though I have a slightly different perspective.
For example, our Sun is only a "yellow dwarf" far form the Galactic Center of our UNIVERSE.
It could not possibly be the source or sustainer of ALL LIFE [esp. Light Energy].
But since it does sustain LIFE on this planet, we can safely deduce that our Ancestors viewed it as a Light Source.
Some of this again relates to nicknames and naming patters wherein lie the Key.
My maternal "grandma's" name was Ora Lee. O'RA.
My maternal great-aunt, one of the Women who raised me and was my legal guardian, her name was ICY, pronounced I-SEE. As I have gotten older I recognize the similarity to the name I-SI-S, as a plural form of I-SI.
What does this mean? Well, I look at the earliest ancestors I know of in my lineage.
Great grand ma Mariah Ma-Ri-Ah, from which is derived Ma-Rie or Ma-ry which can also be transliterated to Mar-Re, Ma-Ray, etc.
This denotes a relationship to the Sun [Ra] and the Sea [Mar] Translate to Ma-Ra similar to Ta-Mar or Ta-Mar-a or Ta-Ma-Re.
Another Ancestress, Louisa, as in Lou I-Sa or Loui-Sah.
As in Louisi-ANA. Sah, is also the name of equivalent of Sothis or Isis.
Years ago I started using some of Gerald Massey's books because he has charts which compares Kemetic names with English, Sanscrit, etc. Many are strikingly similar. So, it is easy to see how Budge and others re-arranged things.
Well, in one of his books, the Book of the Beginnings, he spoke of the Great Bear, also known as Ursa Major or the Big Dipper. He said that at one point in our early history that it was considered a Polar Constellation before the North Star was Polaris. A few months ago I was doing my own observation and realized its proximity to "Orion".
Now, folks always talk about the importance of Sirius but I then began to study and ask what Star did our Ancestors use for navigation when Sirius was not visible in the night sky.
This brouught me back to the Great Bear, which is in the northern constellation but changes to where is actually appears as part of Orion, which is in the Southern constellation.
I then realized looking at the dates in which some of my Ancestors were born and when they "passed". And how some of these events seemed to also correlate with new births within the family.
I know this will sound crazy to some but its one fascinating aspect of studying genealogy along with astrology, astronomy and numerology. The PATTERNS become self-evident of a DIVINE ORDER.
Peace.
