Black Poetry : Grand Opening

Had to quote every word!

watzinaname said:
Oh pen again
I do this dance
quizzically pondering
the entrance of romance
I am open
As my pen lingers in this samba
of words oft used way back when
Ions ago in some senses,
only a moment ago in others.
I sway
hand in hand with my quill
with feathery, flighty movements,
I will...
dip the tip fantastic
openly flowing
in the ink that is you,
tasting and savoring,
learning and growing,
literally and figuratively
submerged in the knowing...
But dancing in lavishly thick Nubian ink
isn't as easy as one would think
Can't just waltz on through
For if you do. you'll miss out
on examining each ebony drop
So, pour it on thick, let your onyx ocean
flow in waves that just won't stop
Let us clasp hands and tango
when the river runs deep and rages
Then we can appreciate the smooth ripples
that inspire me to write infinite pages
I begin to tingle, as your warm ebony
ink slowly fills the chamber of my pen
It in turn oozes a chocolate elixir
onto the parched parchment, and then
each letter,
each word,
each phrase
embraces into this lyrical slow dance
quizzically pondering
the entrance of romance
Oh pen, again...
I am open....

Wow ~ is so cliché…so I’ll say it but I’ll say it in Japanese

うわっ :read:

Definitely diggin your vibe on this one
As aromatic as espresso and more poignant than orchids in full bloom
you displayed a scenic horizon with an air of excitement at the helm
This piece flowed over the mind like water over the skin
Absorbing into the imagination...forcing a poet to flow with it
Inspiring the verse that lies within
Forcing me to speak...again and again

Gosh…why couldn’t I just say “wow, I really like this piece”
But noooo…the poet in me just couldn’t control herself…tsk tsk tsk
There’s just something about amazing poetry that captures me quick

Wonderful…Wonderful…Beautifully choreographed command of the spoken word.

Grand it tis, sis! Grand it tis!

うわっ"
:read: In Japanese, sage? Now, you really have left me with an open mouth, searching for an adequate way to respond to your more than poetic comments. Suffice it to say, this is humbling, especially coming from a stellar poetess such as yourself. A fabulous muse can take words a long way, thanks a million sis.

And where have you been triniti? I'm not sure how to reply to you as well, what with you extending such high kudos. I thank you so much, and look forward to reading something new from you. Much appreciated poetess.
