I definitely think Beyonce is the rising diva, if not already risen. She's got it all - stunning beauty, personality and an amazing voice. She is gonna be her own galaxy. And only 22 years old.

I boycotted the Grammy's. I didn't think it was fair that they banned Janet and let Justin Timberlake stay. He's the one that pulled her top off. Last year Britney Spears preformed half naked and no one hand anything to say about that. Madonna can kiss Britney and Christina Agulliera and that's cool with everyone. I didn't think it was fair so I didn't watch. I know my boycott didn't effect much, but it was my little voice and I did what I felt I should.

With all that said, I heard Luthur had a video confernce or something. I heard that was beautiful. Under different circumstance I would've loved to see that.

I don't think Beyonce is a "diva" she seems to nice for that, but she is already a huge star and seems like she is in this music thing for the long run.

in response to renee. I think your looking at diva as a negative word and indeed it can be. but I always think of Patti Labelle when using the word diva because that is what she considers herself to be. and we all know the powerhouse that Miss Labelle is and she geniunely nice. Now thats a true diva to me. But my girl Beyonce is doing her thing she is definitely on her way to becoming a diva.

    My cents

In my opinion Beyonce is a good singer. But lacks true talent. I think she is just the white mans sexual image of a black woman. She fits all the sterotypical molds. She's ok to lust after, so let her do her thang. I don think her talent is all that warranted. If the media saturates the market with a particular artist, if she is mangaged right and creates the right team to help the record company make the almighty buck, then folks who are watching, reading and listening to the media hype will become numb and bite the bait. I remember when destiny's child was slammed and talked about, well this is the same woman, with the same parents. Nothing has changed. I think she was a sell out then, and she is nothing but a sexual sell out now. She is not in my opinion diva and not the greatest thing out there, they just haven't found the right woman to go up against her with some true talent and positive marketablility... the market is just over saturated with Beyonce. Let some competition step up to the plate and lets see what happens?

Shadow.. hope I don't offend all the true fans
