wow! this should be a sticky!!

i took a look at a few. i particularly liked a link i found at wonder how-to that spoke to taking care of cast iron pans! i have always known, but not exactly how or why i know it, that there is something special about how a cast iron skillet is cared for: i can finally "explain" to me what i "know"! (there's also a link from this article to one that goes really in-depth into :seasoning" cast iron cookware.)
