    Poets: A family friend lossed two of her sons...one in October--killed--and one three weeks ago--heart attack. I wrote this for her but haven't given it to her. I need your opinions/suggestions for improvements. she's been through so much, i just want this to be right, for her.

    ~~~~~~
    Don't Cry, Mom...
    we can soar among the stars and moon
    don't cry mom
    we're here for you
    you raised us to be the best we can
    don't cry mom
    this was God's plan
    i knew you could make it
    ...knew you'd handle yours and mine
    as the sunset beyond the peak
    my smile was wide
    i've lived my time
    i want to thank you for my journey
    if not for you...i would not be
    i've watched you time and time again
    ...experienced your love and joy for me
    you've been the MOM that many would want
    you've shared your heart and soul with me
    ...gave me a smile to share with others
    a love of life that set me free
    my life was made wonderful because of you
    thank you, again, for being there
    raising me up
    making me smile
    showing me love
    and more
    that you care
    each night
    as you hear a whisper at your ear
    look to the heavens
    Kevin and I are here
    when the weight of the world
    seems squarely on your shoulders
    ...your mind is weary
    as satan gets bolder
    remember what good Christians
    always have to say
    trust in His love
    He'll always provide a way
    i know of your passion
    the love you have to share
    let it pour out
    show others that you care
    God rang loud his horn
    and called us both home
    but, don't cry Mom
    we didn't leave you alone
    God walks beside you.
    Forever love,
    Kevin and Larry.
    their are moans and cries that only God can hear and interpret, take solace in knowing he knows and cares for all
    he is and ever shall be there to share, and nothing that happens is outside of his plan
    anything you write in sencere will be right
    God bless
    pd/shaz...
    thanks for the love. losing one child is hard, in and of itself. losing two in such a short period of time could devastate a parent...but she remains strong for the rest of the family. YES, she grieves in the wee hours...when she take a moment for herself. still, i have four and i couldn't imagine losing one of them.
    thanks for the read.
    Baller, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your families. This poem is beautiful and comforting, that which speaks with a spiritual tongue. I too have recently experienced two passings in the family and am greatful that I know how to pray, The faith instilled within, which keeps me grounded and the knowing of the promise of a resurrection to come.
    it is that resurrection promise that gives us hope...
    ...that we will see each other again. our faith gives us the strength to move on...to look forward...and to continue to smile because we know what the future holds for us.
    thanks for the love, Jyntl. i hope you're dealing with your loss in a positive way. i know it can be hard at times, still, life continues. PRAYING.
    peace&muchlove.
