    DAWN BROUGHT
    RAIN...

    BLUE-GRAY LIGHT
    TEMPERMENTAL CLOUDS
    AWESOME
    SPILLED TINTS
    IN
    MOISTURE
    AND MOTION.

    SOME ROSE
    TO THIS
    LIGHT
    WITH MISGIVINGS
    AND REMNANTS
    OF
    AN UNEASY
    SLUMBER.

    ANGER BREWING
    IN EARLY SHADOWS.

    NEW DAYS BIRTH
    MARKED
    BY GRUNTS UNINTELLIGIBLE
    WHISPERED CURSES
    DOGS WERE
    KICKED
    CHILDREN SAW
    NO PARTS
    OF
    A
    KISS
    NOR KIND
    WORDS
    OF ENCOURAGEMENT.

    THE DAY
    PROGRESSED
    TO
    CLEARER SKIES

    BUT....

    CLOUDY M I N D S
    PREVAILED.

    ANGRY TORNADOES
    OF
    THOUGHT
    BROUGHT
    COLD OUTBURSTS.

    DESTRUCTIVE FLOODS
    RUNAWAY WORDS
    ORIGINATING FROM
    TROUBLED
    SOULS.

    BY EVENING,
    THE DAYS
    DELUGE
    COLLECTED
    IN THE
    HOME.

    TURNING

    A FAMILY'S
    D I N N E R T I M E

    INTO

    A

    F U N E R E A L - RITUAL

    TIRED WORRIES
    FUELING
    CAUSTIC
    BANTER,
    HURTFUL GLANCES.
    PAIN ABSORBED
    THROUGH
    MOUTHFULS
    OF BITTERNESS.

******* FORECAST FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY *******

    MORE RAIN
    MORE SHAME
    MORE ANGER
    MORE P A I N.

    U N L E S S

    THE WINDS
    WITHIN
    A
    SOUL
    S H I F T.

    TO SEE
    THE G I F T......

    L O V E
    G R A C E
    AND
    B L E S S 'INGS

    G O D
    GIVES US
    TO
    S U S T A I N

    WE'LL
    NEVER
    SEEK OR KNOW

I loved this peace. It reminds me of what it was like growing up with my mom and even now sharing a house with her. Wishing I could share this with her in:heart:

If not, I'll read it again as a prayer to God and hope that it touches her.

    Inspiring....

Your writing always seems to inspire me. I'm a big nature freak...I guess that comes from growing up in the country and for you to be so creative with your mother nature poems. It just brings back so many memories....That brings a great peace to my soul. Man...Now I'm missing home. :( Well keep writing and I'll keep reading.

Ga....I would hope that every peice I am blessed to give to these rooms has the same thought provoking abilities...the input I get from one so talented makes me smile wide: D Peace Ga
