Black Spirituality Religion : Generational Curses

In Deuteronomy 28 He sets before us the blessings and the curses, and tells us to choose which we will. We are told that if we obey all His commandments (teachings of scripture) that we will be blessed to 1,000 generations and that if we are disobedient we would be cursed to the fourth generation. , read Deuteronomy 28:3-13; Deuteronomy 28:16-68; Proverbs 26:2; and Deuteronomy 30:19.
this text is telling us that there are two groups of people in God’s eyes “them that love me” and “those who hate me”.
Deuteronomy 28 Verse 58 shows God saying that IF they do NOT observe His word He will do these things. The curse is only on those who disobey not on those who love God and keep His commandments. Many verses in this chapter make this very clear. We must never take verses out of context to prove a point.
Gal.3:13-14 tells us that everyone who has accepted Christ and His Atoning death on Calvary, is free from all [generational] curses, etc, though signs of them may linger through ignorance, or return due to backsliding. Curses are as real as blessings, hell as real as heaven. If we never question physical 'genetics', why question spiritual 'genetics'?
Jeremiah 31:29-32 (NIV) In those days people will no longer say, 'The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge.' Instead, everyone will die for his own sin; whoever eats sour grapes--his own teeth will be set on edge
John 9:2,3,14"And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither has this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made shown in him. And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes."
If you don't believe Jesus redeemed us from the curse, you will walk in whatever you don't believe He redeemed us from. A lie believed to be true will generate some things in your life that are not aspects of the redemptive work of Christ. When you were born again, you were born of the spirit of God where there is no curse, sin, or darkness. His very Spirit is in you and your spirit man is joined to the Lord and one spirit with Him. That is the life we are to draw from.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith" (Galatians 3:13-14).

Can anyone share knowledge on "generational curses" with me?

The Bible mentions “generational curses” in several places (Exodus 20:5; 34:7; Numbers 14:18; Deuteronomy 5:9). It sounds unfair for God to punish children for the sins of their fathers. However, this is looking at it from an earthly perspective. God knows that the effects of sin are passed down from one generation to the next. When a father has a sinful lifestyle, his children are likely to have the same sinful lifestyle as well. That is why it is not unjust for God to punish sin to the third or fourth generation – because they are committing the same sins their ancestors did. But they are being punished for their own sins, not the sins of their ancestors. The Bible specifically tells us that God does not hold children accountable for the sins of their parents (Deuteronomy 24:16).

There is a trend in the church today to try and blame every sin and problem on some sort of generational curse. This is not biblical. The cure for generational curses is salvation through Jesus Christ. When we become Christians, we are new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). How can a child of God still be under God’s curse (Romans 8:1)? The cure, then, for a “generational curse” is faith in Christ and a life consecrated to Him (Romans 12:1-2).
