How much do you know about your ancestry and are you interested? The farthest I can go back is to one of my greatX4 grandfathers, on my mothers side, I'm assuming he was born in the late 18th century. My ethnic group are the Bemba of Zambia and I know that we descend from Luba people who migrated from what is now the southern portion of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to what is now the Northern Province of Zambia in the 17th century. Nothing is more interesting to me then genealogy, knowing where you come from. It's one of the reasons why I'm so interested in evolution as well.
