I wonder when time runs out for former players to sue.

There are so many that could use reparations for all the head injuries received while doing their jobs on these NFL teams. I'm very pleased that schools are looking at the equipment being used in our school system and seem to be making sure that they're looking out for the athletes in the sports program.

As the settlement of the 4,500-plus concussion lawsuits trudges forward, other suits may pop up. At least one has disappeared as quickly as it arose.
Hall of Fame running back Gale Sayers has withdraw a concussion lawsuit against the NFL. Per Fred Mitchell of the Chicago Tribune, Sayers contends it was filed without his authorization.

You know, its sad when people today are still trying to get ahead off the backs of some of the stars of old. Was it an Agent who might have thought he had clearance to sue? Or maybe the league got to Gale and asked that he back off for a payoff......just a thought.

And all that is good thinking butterfly#1, but who knows, really. Gale could be a Christian and feels its wrong. But here's what the link reported:

Bears Hall of Famer says he did not consent to its filing and wife says lawyer calls matter 'big misunderstanding'

As I implied... someone thought they had clearance and didn't.

Don't you lose any sleep etc. over this:

As a black pitchman would say, I can guess Mr Sayers best interests 'are in good hands'...

I lose very little sleep over matters of others lives these days. Especially when all I can offer is opinion.

Thanks for your concerns. I do get lots of sleep :)
