From the depths of birth pangs we were borne to a life so unnatural as unknown as the sun shining brightly at the midnight.

From the depths of our living souls a trauma, so unusual emerged as strange as me burning a symbol of death at the Klan’s front door.

From the eras gone by a disservice so hurtful is done as terrifying as me moving into your Oh-So-Lily-White Neighborhood-Because-I-Want-It-Too.

From the midst of a land so far, yet so near, a change so drastic as wild as my virginity and dignity taken from me because I’m considered to be the family pet.

From the center of a time so glorious, yet extremely vicious as I need to say more, as murderous as stealing my land and home built by my hands and sweat because I’m too dark to you.

From my inner mind a thought so deep yet compelling as to speak what I will to remind you and say what I feel because it’s my right to do so.

From the Bowels of my putrid makings, there’s a stench of hate and death, because I won’t give into the Two-Faced-I-Wanna-Be-A-Whitey-Man attitude.

From the torrid and slick lifestyles of being carefree and senseless as if I could careless about the Little People.

From the day of dawn to the night of terror—I will seek the continuous RIGHT to be Free Woman, to be a FREE Man, to be a FREE Human, to be FREE Somebody, a FREE anybody I see.

    who are we?!

we have come a short distance to knowing the real of who we want to be!

I can't understand the covering up of all our thoughts because someone is a prude!

    Cut the nonsense!

Luv me 1st, luv you next.

I am learning every minute of every hour to be the real of all real!

If I cannot be me, then I do not exist.

    DO YOU?
