RWS teaches us that white folks use words to confuse. That is a paraphrase of Neely Fuller's teaching. He also teaches us that "Until you understand the SYSTEM of white supremacy, NOTHING else will make sense". I think I have that quote right or pretty darn close. I do have the code book, yet, it is not at my finger tips right now. If need be, and if no one does so before me, I'll add corrections where needed. So, I went to the "horse's mouth" to define just what "white supremacy" means. This is what I found and I trust this is just SURFACE or initial layer. White supremacy is the belief that white people are superior to people of other racial backgrounds. The term is sometimes used specifically to describe a political ideology that advocates the social and political dominance by whites. White supremacy, as with racial supremacism in general, is rooted in ethnocentrism and a desire for hegemony. White supremacy has frequently resulted in anti-black and antisemitic violence. Different forms of white supremacy have different conceptions of who is considered white, and not all white supremacist organizations agree on who is their greatest enemy. What I note right off the bat, is how they use words to confuse. The FIRST line is what they would have us to THINK when we hear or use the term. What follows however, speaks to what or how it plays itself out in our lives. Also, if one follows the link, you will learn more about the SYSTEMIC nature of white supremacy...aka RACISM.... btw..Neely Fuller ALSO links these terms letting us know his belief that they are in fact..interchangeable. I'm going to read a bit more on it and possibly post more. Any thoughts on this :?: M.E.
