    Freedom cries
    While you deny
    You were not chosen
    You choose to continue
    Wearing the mask
A task not hard for the melting pot to cover
Simmer into something other than yourself
    While freedom cries
    Still
    Motherland birthrights
    Warriors stand postioned
Fighting a war for someone else
    While Freedom cries
    The finger pointers always pointing
Never wanting the smoking gun pointed at them
What then is the true cost of freedom
    Too much to pay?
So, freedom lays dead in an uncovered grave
    Still
    Freedom cries
Infinite tears be the high price paid
    The foundation laid
Whispering her secrets in a song
    Sowed she a spirit seed
Tell me was she wrong to wait for a harvest?
    Freedom was listening
    There were silent tears
    When the messenger never came
    Shame
Freedom cries for Kingsmen never come
    None, not one found
    The journeymen from within
    The ancestors underground
    Tell me Freedom be like
    Black Reign
    If she come again
    It never falls
Sowed she a love seed for her spirit
    Freedom calls
    Can you hear it?
Or do we put up with injustice
Watching just us being put away
Watching just us being put down
Watching just us putting up with
    Freedom cries
Knowing many a injustice pushed it's way
    High between her thighs
    Stole her peace
    Infinite tears
    Freedom cries
    Do you hear her?
Or pretend that freedom will transcend
Like some dream if you just hold on real tight
Meditate on it day and night
As if it might really be for real
    Still
    Freedom cries
Unbound you to fly past the skies and Heaven
Live long to tell your breathen
You dare to stare in your own eyes
    Deny you heard her reply
    To stand and demand peace?
    Spirit steady sowing seeds
    The kind the soul needs
The kind that found you laying silently beneath the sea
The kind that breathed you free
Tell me you didn't hear her?
    Infinite tears
For her to hear you still ain't free
    What a pity...
    Freedom cries.
    Still.

So many wars we are fighting
    For Terror
    For Justice
    For Righteousness
But then who really fights for peace
That would simply be an oxymoron I guess
    So, I know Freedom Cries
    Don't you?

    Peace & God Bless
