I've freed myself!
From dreaming
From hoping
Waiting in vain for you
To see
Me
The one possessing
The love you search for
In Vain

I swell
Inside
With love
For you
To have it ignored
Taken for granted
Played with
Trampled upon
Misused
Never validated
Never substantiated
Never reciprocated
Unexplored
Lying dormant
Seeping away slowly with passing days
Without you
Yes, you're here
But really gone
Mentally
In the arms
Of another
*sigh*

Yet I'm free now
To love
To be loved
Appreciated
Validated
"Un" lonely
Focused
And free....
Free from you
Free from the chains
Of a so- called love!
