Forsaken

Afrika our Motherland
from where we came
Black Roses
stolen and taken
to be forsaken
they changed our name
Our families torn apart
They robbed us
And killed us
Leaving us brokenhearted
I am not mistaken
for some, there was no escapin’.

History shows that:
We were placed around the world
and never returned
Through their brutal treatment
We were placed into a deep sleep
A sleep or fear
On this western hemisphere
They thought we would never awaken
They wanted. . . Afrikan Roses
to be forgotten
They wanted our Afrikan culture to be uncouple forever......
We will not be forsaken
There is no mistaken
