A trait that's heaven sent
least I believe it's true
still standing tall
no matter what they do
Can't say it's easy
some try really hard
to knock me down on my tail
when they think I've let down my guard
Well, surprise surprise,
my guard is never completely down
even when it seems surely, I must
be forlorn, tearful, and wearing a frown
Many are those who have tried
schemed and tested me
Yeah, I guess it is the God above
who has truly blessed me
Not saying I'm special, we all
have this gift that's fathoms wide
That gives us staying power
and fills us with pride
All we need to do is to look
deep inside
And just allow God
to be your guide
Guess I just have to forgive
knowing that, I'll never know when
someone will find a need
to test me again...

surely ya not alone
for the test continues on
yet da mind truely strong
so just rise keep movin on
it's his will and his guide
hold that faith deep inside

sometime we all are put through a test by our own well felt
