Trying hard to forget you but why should I
    Your words
    That made my spirit cry
The look on your face when we parted ways
Brings back memories of better days
You were to me an addictive thing
You touched my heart and made it sing
I breathed each word each move you made

Let’s start with the walk such a dangerous thing
Each step you took could make the angels sing
The beauty of Your hair your smooth brown thighs
    Your eyes
    Your face your smile
    All memories within my soul
Your breast of beauty and woman hood
    Trying hard to forget you
    I wish I could
    We shared hearts secrets,
    of victory and pain
As you touched my soul and made it live again
    Forget you I must
    My decision firm
    Forget you
    I must
    Forget you
    Goodbye

are you sure you have to forget her??...

this piece is beautiful... & it doesn't read as
if forgetting is gonna come too soon... or too easy.

    thank you for sharing.

    "remember

me as a sunny day that you once had along the way...remember me with every song you sing; remember me
    as a good thing"....

    D. Ross

I believe we have to cherish the love that we made with dear ones; allow those things to build us, make us, 'keep us'...oh yes...once we get past the pain of separation, whenEVER that happens...we must "REMEMBER"!

Feeling all this...as one who once thought forgetting was the only answer...

    Keep Trying

It hards to forget one as lovely as you...
Your soft touch as you do the things you do..
    But i will walk away
    in dismay
    leaving only the memory...
    Forget you never...
and I pray you don't forget me...

i know our times have been rough..
    and obviously you've had enough...
but take the thoughts of me with you...
as you continue on doing those things you do.

    Because I can't forget you...
    And I'd rather think back
and simply say, "I remember you!!!"

Never forget. You'll hurt yourself. Hold on to the memories and the good times. Some things you will never FORGET as well as that's concerned. YOU will not be able to FORGET that easily. YOU will always REMEMBER.And what has been done has been done. But you can move on ,Because life goes on and, there will be brighter more beautiful dayz. Trust me. It's been two yrs. I havn't forgot but I know I can't go back I don't want to go back but I'm moving on and things are getting much better and sweeter. I agree with the addiction thing. Sometimes you can use someone if you will to complete a hole or emptyness or a loneliness in your heart and you're afraid that you won't be able to go on by your self and that you don't know how. And your tired of relying on your own strength. I don't believe that time will heal all wounds. But I do believe if you look inside your heart and follow your heart and where you want to be before you were with her. You'll be able to find yourself again. Peace ma brotha. I hope this could help you out a lil. Stay encouraged. Prayin for ya.
