I understand the desire to just flow with it the way it hits you, but you did go around the asterisk system in place more than a few times. My main focus however, is my admiration of the piece itself.. There's your use of alliteration, your humorous asides, word play, and most of all your description of how this place makes us feel. We find ourselves exactly in the spot where we say we'd not go, bull's eye poetess.
It's no longer how or when you got there, but will you stay.
As we use to say: "When it's dead, it's done"...let us re-new our souls under the sun.

Sista girl i believe that everyone has wondered a time or two; How did they get in such a predictment. But I am not sure they ask the question as exquistely as you did right here mys siter. Way to do the d@m thing!!!
