Dear Momma,

Just a letter maybe a poem something to wish you happy birthday
Missing you today remembering the last birthday we shared together
You got your wish desire and it placed a smile on my heart
For I will never forget the look in your eyes...September 8th is not long away
But today I thought of you...Maybe because its my birthday and we always spent it together just us two...So today I like to wish you happy birthday too...

You struggled to make sure I went the right road
Paid the bills sent me to school…made sure I was happy then it turned around and you was my baby…me making sure you was happy your like heaven in my eyes
Raised me without a man for you was my mother and father a true QUEEN and did just fine I must say…but your love is missed today…see you maybe gone but your still here

People ask me what you have plan…nothing for I always sent it with you
So when I think of you and all you said…I have lived and I am getting stronger
Life can be rude and I didn’t know you would be gone and all my heartache I would spend alone

But your home no more pain no struggles and no worries
Peace in the light for I know you watches over me at night
Nothing will ever change my love for you
It is still deep and my memories of yesterdays are still
Like new…Happy Birthday my momma…and I miss you

Tears just falling....my momma was my best friend and we shared the day together hers was the 8th of sept and mine well is the 6th...so now i do it with my daughter which is on the 15th....i dont go out or plan nothing but we have dinner together and maybe a movie but its momma and daughter day until she get tired of me..which last about a hour..lol
