Creativity stems from pain
Tears of heartbreak stains the canvas
Painting stories of startling imagery
So vivid that your own heart cries crimison tears
Powerful stanzas thunder out of the dark cloud that hangs above my head
Torment whispers in my soul
Shreading my peace of mind until I release a piece of me
Slit open my mind and pour my spirit onto the page
Until I lie drained, unmoving
I remain unmoved by the joy of simplicity
Masochistic tendencies hinder me from unforrowing my brow
My neck remained premanently bent
Cracked lips pressed into my pen
Muttering mantras of misery
Moaning my most scared thoughts and desires
Spiral notebooks document every spiral into depressino
Scribbled seances to draw away dark spirits
Glaring at me with haunted eyes
Holding back the pleasure that doesn't bode well for the bard in me
Suicidal talent
I kill myself to fulfill my destiny
For my creativity
