If the Whole can be made no more, then the Whole cannot be injured according to who/what?
According to Physics.....and Physicists - Spiritual Scientist.
The Whole is composed of Energy ......according to first law of thermodynamics (conservation of energy) - ENERGY CAN NEITHER BE CREATED OR DESTROYED.
The Whole does not suffer Loss.
It is "evil" (injurious/harmful) because the man now must function in life with one hand instead of two. It is "good" (beneficial) because he was spared further harm. The good outweighed the evil but it is still injurious/harmful ("evil") to take away a person's hand causing the person to have to function in life with one hand instead of two.
Peace!

I have answered this question already, with the following
It would be evil to us as human beings..
It would appear detrimental to us as human beings...
But to the All it just Is
Energy conversion - Change
Change is a Constant.....
Change is detrimental to the existing Status quo.
Evil is a concept of Man.
Loss is a concept of Man
Harm is a Physical Construct of Man.
If any man suffers any of the above he will feel the loss and may see it as evil.
The Whole is not a Concept or Construct but Energy - Vibration
Pure energy cannot be lost or harmed.....Only converted - Changed.
Is it evil that men do not have four hands?
Is it evil that men cannot regenerate loss limbs?
