    I understand your pain
I grew up in the same hood
loved the same kind of man
Behind his back I would stand
In my face he would smile
Said he'd be back in a while
Kissed my face, caressed my cheek
Buckled my knees, made me weak
Crossed the threshold, walked out my door
Loved him but saw his pretty thug face no more
Shot by APD, trying to flee
Last thing he cried I found out was for me
Had a wad of money is his left pocket, with his ID
They made a mistake, took his life before he could bring
The thing in his right pocket to me. A ring.
And ever since then, things were never as fun
It's messed up how things get done in 30331.

Sista just like you my thug was stop by APD and catch this the cop that shot him showed up at the funeral. Do you know the pain I felt. But I guess he was just defending himself and didn't mean to kill him. But the nerve of that dude, I could have killed him. But sista girl keep your head up. It's happens everyday in the land of ATL. Sista gurl the pain will fade but often come back but remember the good times that was felt. I know he is sista in the great place in the sky where one day yo two will mend. That was a nicely written piece of yours. Would you like to get together and do a collab one day? I like ya style.

    Much Love,
    Foxy...............

This was very nice of you eternal. I too have thug memories in the back of my head, and even though it wasn't my man, this piece brings back many of memories. Very real. Loved it
