You who shall release me from my chain
And heaven bound eternity I'll gain

Thou my flame will be extinguished from sight
In my poetry I'll have left a trail of light

    death is the poets friend
in his name all shall end
this very poem that I wrote before
don't know, somehow vanished and was no more

A testimonial to what I had to say
that no matter what all will be taken away

You who shall release me from my chain
and heaven bound eternity I'll gain

close to me even at my conception
waiting for me at my dads erection

I measure all else by you
what will It mean when I'm threw

always ready to take me home
    never once leaving me alone

all that we leavebehind is the words we spill
and the impressions made on the cups they fill

a tributary to the oceans of life
the delta of spirit and flesh where day meets night

you who shall release me from my chain
and heaven bound eternity I'll gain

reminding me always to do my best
cause no matter what I shall have my rest

tho my flame will be extinguished from sight
in my poetry I'll have left a trail of light
