FLOW INTERRUPTED

Can we talk just for a minute?
these few things I gotta let go
I just really tend to get frustrated
when stuff interrupts my flow

Is it really necessary to bug me
As I sit at my desk for lunch
"Can I ask a just one question, I promise?"
and an hour later, my salad won't even crunch.

Now parents this one's for us
trying to get a little QT, on the late night tip
Kids wake up screamin' or bangin' at the door
groove gets busted and your smack, flip and rub it has to quit

On the job, you're supposed to be professional
yet your mouths, say anything but.
Curse, gossip and slander your peers
actin' like squirrels chasing a nut

Lastly, what's the deal up in the church house?
a brother just trying to get his praise on
folks comin' in late, and so called saints being fake
it's all about you and God, so what's wrong?
