How does one overpay on their home loan, make payments early, and end up in foreclosure?
Etienne Syldor, an Orlando man, would sure like to find out. According to WFTV, Syldor was approached by his lender, Wells Fargo, last year, regarding a mortgage modification. He made all the payments, and told the station he'd never missed a payment -- a statement supported by court records, which actually show he'd overpaid, and paid early, according to the station.

Did he violate any of the terms of his mortgage agreement?

"He made all the payments, and told the station he'd never missed a payment -- a statement supported by court records, which actually show he'd overpaid, and paid early, according to the station."

So are you saying that Court Records, WFTV (News Outlet), and the Etienne Syldor (the mortgage holder) are all incorrect? If so, do you have any information that is counter to what those three sources are stating.

I also suggest you look up the scandal Wells Fargo is presently mired in.

    Arianne...

You seem to be arguing in favor of Wells Fargo...so, I have a question for you: If, as court records agree, Mr. Syldor never missed a payment...and even paid early...what is it about this that tells you Mr. Syldor is an erratic payer, or in some other way damaged his account, resulting in foreclosure?

So what you are saying is that you absolutely believe what Wells Fargo is saying, even if the courts say differently, or is it you sought out the court documents and have noticed that the news media is lying about his payment history? It is amazing, considering the fact that Wells Fargo is known for mortgage and bank account shenanigans, you still are inclined to believe the Bank over other relevant sources of information.

I am more inclined to believe you side with the Bank, because you are making assumptions about Mr. Etienne Syldor payment history based on his background. All of your extraneous information to support your position does not dissuade me from my view, but instead convinces me of it.

Does his mortgage agreement say anything about Credit card or check? I just asked if he violated any of the terms of his mortgage agreement.
