Flames of the Fire

I know you and I used to be part of the flame of a single big candle.

That flame was used to light smaller candles and ignite them with that same flame.

Now we may be two different candles

But we are still both burning with the fire that we always did

Your flame may be used to help light the fire that will cook dinner for a friend

And mine to illuminate the dinner table for all to see

We may switch roles

Or even have new ones altogether

Whenever there is a flame I will see you as you will see me, as we are both the fire

Whenever I see no flame but mine

I know that I can ignite with my flame, our flame

And you will be there with me, doing what we do best… being fire

Transforming the world around us for better or for worse

If I forget that as long as my flame is burning

so too is yours as we were once the same flame

When my candle burns out, and my wax has melted

I will rejoin the big candle again

Molding my melted wax to keep the eternal flame burning

And I will see you again as me, and we will burn eternally

Again as one…

Inspired by a secret...
But written for everyone!!!

the forever flame...

...that consumes the soul. we, each, have our role...our place in relationships path. sometimes that path venture away from the one...to create the bigger path that will follow. sometimes they merge into one...that others might see their strength...their love...their destiny. but ALWAYS they are UNITED in their love...the dreams...their future.

THANK YOU.
