Black Poetry : Finding her Swing

she ended up in the delicate situation

of having to choose my predicate creations

over a boy already giving her enough elation

to livin' up an audience at a Chris Tucker concert

so where do i belong in her life especially since we've never been able to move in concert

together

i've weathered so many storms

to sit next to her and keep her warm

but obviously someone else was born

to love her
