Black Poetry : Finally

Never ask for a diamond ring
Didn’t need your last name

The crying and the heart felt pain
Of being without you
I cant live through it another year

wow...this was so heartwrenching
sister this was felt on so many levels
sometimes it takes the second time
around to get it right...good luck

Whoa. You took me down my own memory lane with that one.
Great capture.

Its been…
2 years
1 month
3 weeks
Since I felt your touch
You kissing my lips
whispering in my ear
Loving me down
Sending me to ecstasy
And back again
just holding me tight
Here we go
Claiming love…..
Once more

Reaching across the miles
As the months turn
Looking in the future glass
All I could see was
You and me
Me and you
Forever and more
To that first year
It grew longer but stronger
I never gave up on
You
Us
The togetherness
Your grace
My joy
Your love
My peace
Our happiness

Never ask for that big house
A small one would of done

Nothing was the same
As we said that last goodbye
And your lasting touch
Forever remain on me

Never question your love…..
And we could of had it all

Never ask for a diamond ring
Didn’t need your last name

The crying and the heart felt pain
Of being without you
I cant live through it another year

Finally

Apart but near
As we start from the end
to birth a new beginning

Finally

can we get it right this time…
