Fighting Temptation!

As we lay, he cradles
to the curves of my body
in a bed soft as feathers,
draped in cherry clothe,
encrusted with rose petals;
manufactured for lovers to be.

He breathes
steadily against the surface
of my skin; gently I hear him.
His lips cautious, his shaky hands
pondering to touch me.
I shuffle, lay placid, and
then I am reshuffling again,
so my head can rest upon
his chest and listen
to his heartbeat’s cadence.

Our bodies
join as
one without sin
as he rest his head
upon my chin
and guides his lips slowly
to grace my forward
with a kiss.
