    Don't know if it's ok
don't know if it's the way
    but I'm beginning
    to feel nothing
    and nothing is ok.
    It's a lull
    it's a pause
    life is null
    there's a void
    Should I avoid feeling
    cause it hurts so bad?
    So tired of dealing.
    Doesn't matter what I want,
    gone way past that,
    out of my hands now,
alter is now up at bat.
    Tears can barely drip now,
and if they somehow manage to
seep out, they merely wet my face.
    Don't let them bother you,
    cause they don't affect me.
    Neither does this pulsating heart
    racing tirelessly against time, trying
in vain to give this brain a jump start
    Can't reason,
    can barely produce rhymes,
I had to snatch these miniscule phrases out,
it happens during these thoughtless times...
    I'm beginning to feel nothing...
    and nothing is ok.
Not to worry though, wonderful things seem
to happen after I'm done feeling this way...

    Nothing is ok sometime...

As long as the feelings that you are repressings are not suppressed
and resurface inappropriately some other time. I do understand the need
for solace however...and sometimes it is good "...that we are alone!"
    This was very touching!

    Blessings On Your House!

Well, no msluciousb, we don't want those emotions spilling out inappropriately. But solace of the spirit is needed sometimes just to make it through the moment. Thanks for the read and response.

This touches me, watz. I used to suffer from major depression until I got some medication. Words can't describe the emptiness, apathy and numbness that comes with that (although you do a fine job here). One thing that really worked for me was exercise. Movement keeps the body's energies flowing and not stagnated, and gets one out of one's mind, even temporarily. It saved my life. Just throwing that out there. Peace unto you, sister.

    I know this feeling...of nothing
I may be an odd one...but
    sometimes I like feeling nothing
it's when I find my equilibrium
    in my mindless meditation...
    of nothingness...because
    the something is often
    overwhelming...so I let
    the nothing take hold
    get my bearings and come
    back out...swinging...

    to this flow...I'm relatin

Wow...Yes, that is exactly how I feel...I know that if it goes too far it can get you in trouble, but in moderation, it's ok. Thanks for letting me know you can relate to the flow.

You really hit yesterdays emotions with this one. Or should I say the lack of feeling anything at all. But In that moment, it was kind of like the saying "Peace, be still", and that is when I thought with the most clear head and made my decisions!!
Thanx, this was a quiet, peaceful piece.
