    Kente,
The question was not about the BEST, it is about all of your favorites who are black and the best movie they appeared in. I think we forget that there are more talented actors out there then just Halle and Denzel. They just haven't had the same opportunities to show their skills.

Those are my favorites though. They are the most versatile. Well, Don Cheadle too. He's the man. Wesley Snipes is cool because he touches movies that most black actors can't handle. He had the whole martial arts background and that's cool. But all in all Denzel is the man. I like Gabrielle Union, but she and Morris Chestnutt stick to the same type movies. I actually liked Tupac as an actor.

    1. Wood Harris- HBO's The Wire and Jimmy Hindrix story
Tupac Shakur- Grid Lock'd and Juice
    Larenze Tate- Love Jones
    Nia Long- Love Jones
    Larenze Tate- Dead Presidents
Laurence Fishborne- What's love got to do with it (his all-time best role)
Samuel L. Jackson- Everything he does except Unbreakable (which wasn't his fault)
Thandie Newton- Grid Lock'd (she's hot in there)
    Bokeem Woodbine- The Big Hit
