student, but not for long
My faith has made me whole,
Given me the strength to run,
Until I’ve reached the goal,
The prize, although my eyes,
Have yet to realize,
That it’s what my destiny holds.

My faith has given me hope,
The driving force behind,
My will to cope,
My reason to live,
Even when life has me,
At the end of my rope,
And when the weakling that I am,
Forces me not to give…
A dam,
Opens up and floods my spirit,
My inner being,
With the remembrance,
Of my visions and dreams.

My faith has finally set me free,
Broken chains of doubt off of me,
Propelled me forward into my destiny,
Made me a believer that something,
Is in store for me…
