In my struggle to introduce Reason to Faith
Words fail in explanation of whom he is
For Faith is never actually seen
But always believed
Reason demands the tangible
I Am sent him (in measure)
And Faith granted introduction
And I know he lives
But reason still begs
Who is he
I know him to be the substance of things hoped for
The evidence of things unseen
He is there
Planted like a seed
He is the one and only one that
Can show me the way to the kingdom
Faith must be my guide
With the other that was sent by my side
only faith knows the way
But to keep up I must work to increase my measure
Or faith will leave me behind
And I will perish
Because to philosophically know him
Is not to know him at all
And if you don’t know him
You don’t know Him
Words fail in explanation of whom he is
For Faith is never actually seen
But always believed
Reason demands the tangible
I Am sent him (in measure)
And Faith granted introduction
And I know he lives
But reason still begs
Who is he
I know him to be the substance of things hoped for
The evidence of things unseen
He is there
Planted like a seed
He is the one and only one that
Can show me the way to the kingdom
Faith must be my guide
With the other that was sent by my side
only faith knows the way
But to keep up I must work to increase my measure
Or faith will leave me behind
And I will perish
Because to philosophically know him
Is not to know him at all
And if you don’t know him
You don’t know Him
