i seen this b*tch one day, had no idea who she was
she mean mugged and pistol gripped like a grown *** thug
between me and her it seemed no lost love; some stranger
i'm not a scary chick but i sensed her danger
her gaze didn't flicker away, just locked on mine
and i got the strange feeling she was out of her mind
suicidal homicidal eyes held no emotions
like she went through life either drowning or coasting
hell-bent on revenge unafraid of consequence
like she could kill me where i stood and have no conscience
i looked the ***** up and down and she stared me back
don't know me from adam but daring me to attack
i cocked my head to the side just curious as hell
then saw something so deep she was afraid to tell
beneath the blankness, hidden under the rage
i saw an imprisoned soul in a padlocked cage
it was behind a mask but still clear, i saw her fears
and what i knew she would have killed me for, i saw her tears
every little disappointment life had dealt
a good girl gone bad from the wrongs she felt
maybe once she'd been beautitful, could have been a star
but life is a b*tch, now here we both are
sometimes she's felt jesus and moved with ease
but most times she thinks of loved ones she's tried to please
and somehow let them down all over again
that's why she runs from commitment and don't keep friends
now she stands alone in the middle of her mental street
so far never been beat; but begging for defeat
she wants to be punished for being herself, mental and physical
so she only loves men who will make her miserable
her self disgust has no ends, like a pit with no ground
she wonders every day why god keeps her around
and that's what's up right now; what this confrontation is all about
not strong enough to kill herself; she wants me to take her out
so i have pity for her soul cause i know she's just lost
she's vulnerable and lonely; but others treat her like boss
i decide to let it skate; reach to embrace the epitomy of misery
when she reaches back i realize-
that's the mirror. the ***** is me.
