I believe only that which your eyes tell me
    Because your lips utter lies

You told me that you loved me

    But your eyes said

    I only wanna F**k

You told me that you'd give me the world

    But your eyes said

What can YOU do for me?

You told me that we'd be always and forever

    But your eyes said

    Tomorrow is long enough

    I let you in

    I gave you all

    Because MY eyes were closed

But my ears were wide open

    Shame on me

For kissing you with my eyes shut so tightly

But they are open now, and

I believe only that which your eyes tell me
    Because your lips utter lies

    So go ahead

    Look me in the eyes
    Tell me again

    How much you love me

he can't look you in the eyes
for in them you will see his lies
from his mouth from which he speaks
    falsehood reeks
    truth he will not seek
and his vow to you he will not keep
to lay you down is his plan
when in need he always has an outstreched hand
you can have nothing by yourself
instead of this boy living off your heart's wealth
    drawing love's essence from you
that should be reserved for he that is true
    let him go
    let him know
    that a new chapter begins
and a real man shall win
that gift that comes from above
and embrace you with true love.
