As a child, knowing rights and wrongs
of the planets and having a great affinity
with afrikans and feeling their pain and yet no gain
and wondering .. why why why, where is the justice ?
A child talking to something much greater than me
and told patience patience ..your time will come
a child watching the clouds and knowing they speak to thee
hopeful and expectant and sometimes impatient ..... waiting ...
and yet eye Be

A young woman, naive in many respects
holding such aspirations for man, disillusion is what one begets
How can one be so wrong, when my knowing tells me differently
the trails of life is pure tribulation
our mentality stops at a point of stagnation
and so we fester not knowing of our distractions
and believe in the song, that you are so wrong
And yet, eye Be

Upon reaching an age where one listens to self
the same self which you ducked, dived, avoided and hide
from
the same tells who tells of who you Be
the same self who will set you free of your misery
embrace me,
so we can be whole and free
and Be what you Be

Then suddenly one day we were up close and personal
very personal .. in my face, toe to toe
No where to run, no where to hide, no one but you and me
and what did I see
I saw the props I used to get rid of thee
I saw the illusion called fear .. and it was me
a powerful inner being that's to make us all see
My long awaiting has been my destiny
and still eye Be

Sloughing off the debris of the old me
and stretch my arms wide, yet tentatively
to see and embrace such wonders are quite beyond
the scope of the human mind ..
how to find the words to describe such greatness and potentiality
knowing all along that this was meant to be
Amazed and yet stunned that unknown brothers be breaking all bonds
to set me free

Thank you. Thank you.
Eye breathe, embrace and integrate
and know
EYE BE WHO EYE BE
as we rise and transform our entire destiny

peace

very deep

great meaning

Then suddenly one day we were up close and personal
very personal .. in my face, toe to toe
No where to run, no where to hide, no one but you and me
and what did I see
I saw the props I used to get rid of thee
I saw the illusion called fear .. and it was me

i wish everyone could see their inner self

instead of the blatant lack of self knowledge

we presently intake

you be

eye be

be better
