Were you there
When
My life began to plummet from the summit of
Yesterdays of better days
Were you their when in fear deaths presence
I requested to-draw near
Were you their when upon the Saviors name I did call
Requesting his presence to stop the spiral of my fall
Were you their when He came to me on my knees
Lifted me up plotted my course and assured me that
I had not gone to far and I will never be to grown to be counted as his own

Will you be their when in the end I shall stand
In the nudity of my sin
And give account of the talents that he had placed within
Can you explain to him about the choices I have made
But if not
Do you even have the juice to change or correct my grade

What I really want to know
Is if I follow you and meet your approval
In the end where will I Go

Please explain it to me once more
About the power you say you hold?
Excuse me if I sound foolish
I didn’t mean to be so bold
This is just one of those questions
We ask ourselves
Once we grow
Old

i see i'm the first (of what should be many) to reply to this amazing piece.

i even ask it today, as i stand,
a young man
whole-hearted
bold, thinkin i'm in
control when He is behind
the wheel of fate/hands of time

just somethin i had to get off right quick.
thanx SHAZ,

Deep Piece my brutha!!

I find myself questioning where will go when it is all said and done with...and it gives me stress at times...but I decided In whatever I do from now on will be a trailblaze for my people to follow nevermind me and where I will be in the after life for I will be alright...It doesn't matter anymore for I have given myself up for the greater cause hoping to change the ways of man while I'm here...making a better place for all to live...I don't worry anymore because the truth is my flesh will die in time but my soul shall live...Hopefully if my Creator sees fit...Thank you for expressing your soul today Poet!!
