The sun is going down
The moon has shone her face now
Gently accentuating yours
And casting her light upon your body
As if she loves you as much as I do
Your breathe is so shallow and sweet
You barely move the sheets
I can tell because I've cuddled close to you,
Slowly as not to wake you,
Yet close enough to visually explore
Every detail of your exquisite visage
How many more nights will I have this privilidge
The ability to bask in your presence
To touch your sleeping form
And look into your sightless eyes
How many more times will I be allowed
to taste the honey in your kiss
When our bodies conform to one another
Not making love just physically expressing it
I know I don't deserve this
That's why I appreciate it so much
Why my body always seems to tremble
At your velvet touch.
Your touch,
I never knew how special I was
Until the first time you touched me
And I pray I never lose this feeling,
The comfort and security of loving you

It's been an hour since the moon passed our window
Tommorrow is a new day
And with you by my side it's full of hope
And promise
THANK YOU
