    ..this festival is celebrated to commemorate the end of the sugar cane harvest. The slaves started this after working hard during the crop.. they found time to enjoy themselves...but I am sure it is a far cry from what they had...Wonder what they would say today IF they could see it.... Tourists from all over the world including the USA come here for this festival. Tourism is Barbados' #1 money earner.
