    He sings behind Stevie Wonder. I bet it's great having a background singer that sounds exactly like you did at your best.

    I was completely fooled:facepalm:, it wasn't until I bought the soundtrack that I learned it WAS NOT Stevie..amazing voice!

    Yeah.. Stevie wrote the song though.. Stevie has always done stuff behind the scenes when his contract with his record company wouldn't let him openly support something he wanted to support.. Like School Daze. He did the same thing with Minnie Ripperton's first album. That's Stevie on Electric Piano.. that's why that whole piece has his vibe. Listen to it again.

    Yes, no surprise of the writer, sounds like something he'd write--which further fooled me. Stevie was highly sought after so I'm sure it went both ways, his desire to expand creatively and high demand.

    I can hear his melody in this one for sure!

    You could call this era of music the Stevie Wonder Era. His vocal style was completely original in the 70's.. but now it is The Standard.. male and female.. all of those runs melodic movements are all Stevie Inspired.. whether they know it or not.
