Even Fox News is outraged at Boehner and Netanyahu's plan to undermine Obama

Fox News is not exactly known as an ally of the Obama administration, especially when it comes to disputes between Obama and House Speaker John Boehner, or disputes between Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Yet two prominent Fox News hosts, Chris Wallace and Shepherd Smith, harshly criticized Boehner and Netanyahu on Friday for secretly arranging a Netanyahu speech to Congress that is transparently aimed at undermining President Obama, and set up without the White House's knowledge.

Obama Chief Of Staff Denis McDonough: Benjamin Netanyahu Didn't Spit In The Face Of The White House

Appearing on NBC's "Meet The Press," McDonough distanced himself and President Barack Obama from an anonymous senior administration official who told the Israeli newspaper Haaretz that Netanyahu had "spat in our face publicly" by accepting the invitation and that "there would be a price."

"I can guarantee that it's not me, not the president, and not what we believe," McDonough said. "We think that, as a general matter, we, the United States, has stayed out of internal politics in the countries of our closest allies."
