Consider this
Eternal; long lasting, helpless, scared
Inferior, lack of hope
Open up to a world
Overlooked; unseen; ignored; unnoticed
In fear of
Your own demise
Ending; termination, massacre
Failure, completion
Might as well
Scream, cry
Howl out a word so meaningless
Worthless; useless; insignificant
Not worth mentioning to his ears
Now?
What about then?
When you beat her,
Promising never to raise your hand again
A lie again
A fib; tall tale
A story
Lived; in existence
Instead you
Prohibit this body to be used
Abused; injured; treated badly
By a man of no value
Worth, meaning
He forces you
To have sex,
To disappear from family, friends
Dreams, hopes, aspirations
Leaving you
Helpless, lonely, depressed
Feelings of
Humiliation; shame; embarrassment
Showing all over your face
Cant tell anyone because no one will understand
And when you attempted to speak
No one would listen
Leaving you with a lack of
Self worth, confidence,
Happiness; joy,
Havent seen you
Dance, smile, and laugh

He claims to
Calling you beautiful,
Sexy, smart, stunning, his Mona Lisa
Yet he continues to
Call you *****
Stupid, ignorant, dumb
Ugly, hideous, gruesome
Treats you like an animal
Refuses to look you in the eyes
In fear of you catching him in another lie
Or just embarrassment of his own doings

When will these events stop?
In the days when men no longer see their hand as a weapon
To prove their manhood!
More of a wimp,
Scared of discovering the truth
She doesnt need you; you need her
Scared of losing
So you beat her
Allowing her to fear
Leaving,
Until one day, he awakes in the midst of his death
To her journal, open
Reading : Many beatings I have taken from a soul I once saw as a light illuminating truth and beauty. A love I once knew has now turned into a monster with no dignity. So many days he has come home from work, frustrated and angry. all I want to do is see him smile. Instead he slaps me across the face calling me a disgrace! Yet, I still love him

It is then when a tear falls from his eyes
One held in for so many years
A little too late,
For he feels a pain in his chest
Slowly falling to his knees
Blood dripping, he falls back
Looks up to see this woman hes been beating for long
His eyes close and a kiss placed on his cheek
She walks away slowly, vowing to never speak
In fear of losing what she has just regained; freedom!
