Eric Holder: 'Change Is Coming' After Ferguson Shooting

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Attorney General Eric Holder sought Wednesday to reassure the people of Ferguson about the investigation into Michael Brown's death and said he understands why many black Americans do not trust police, recalling how he was repeatedly stopped by officers who seemed to target him because of his race.

Holder made the remarks during a visit to the St. Louis suburb that has endured more than a week of unrest fueled by the fatal shooting of the black 18-year-old by a white officer. The Obama administration intended the trip to underscore its commitment to civil rights in general and the Ferguson case in particular.

only thing changing after Fergusson are some cops jobs.. fired here.. hired there..

plus some contracts to rebuld some commercial property...

a future movie.. "The Mike Brown Story"...

same ole same ole..

prisons will still be full.. brutality will still be routine.. the people will still be powerless... but pacified by the blame game..
and some cops losing their jobs...

...

It is a wait and see, but in the meantime, people like Aeneas Williams are stepping to the plate; its not all about what Mr. Obama can do, Black-king:

Newly enshrined Hall of Fame safety Aeneas Williams lives 12 miles from where Michael Brown was shot to death in Ferguson, Missouri. An ordained pastor, Williams has been active in the shooting's aftermath.

Williams was asked to speak by the mayor of Ferguson to bring "calm and stability" to the area. NFL Network was with Williams as he spoke and attended a rally in downtown Ferguson on Sunday. He talked with protesters and police officers alike.

The piece is well worth your time:

how many of these cop shootings have you lived through clyde? What has really changed?

Even with the whole world watching.. and scrutinizing.. they killed another dude right near there...

they have the power.. and there's nothing people without equal or greater power can do about it.

What happened to these young men is the same as a lynching...

nothing has changed.. and I see no cause for optimism that it will.
